I want to wish all SNP members, their family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2026.

Politics can be challenging and divisive, and that is undoubtedly true of politics here in Scotland – and around the world – at the moment.

So, as we move into the hustle and bustle of an election year in a few weeks’ time, it is right that we take a rest and enjoy the time with friends and family.

I hope you have a peaceful and relaxing time, and I hope to see many of you again in the new year.
